Staff Profiles

Tony Macken
Managing Director

Tony established his first construction company in 2003 specialising in domestic extensions, renovations and groundwork. Since then, the business has grown considerably and expanded into the commercial sector – offering a complete package of services and rebranding in 2017 as TMAK Construction.

As Managing Director, Tony is involved is all aspects of the business and heads-up the Executive Team to drive growth and development, without compromising on quality.

Matt Raglass
Operations Manager

Matt joined TMAK in January 2018 after working as project manager in both public and private sectors, he worked on projects up to the value of £4 million as well as managing one of the largest government funded educational projects.

He is experienced in change management and joined TMAK to implement and manage processes and procedures to support with the growth plans of TMAK to improve efficiencies. Matt is Prince2 qualified as well as ISO30001 Risk Management. He heads up the operational side of the business.

Philip Skayman
Commercial Manager


Phil joined the TMAK team in May 2019 and is predominantly responsible for managing the company finances. He also oversees the company sales and marketing.

His career background is finance having spent 15 years in retail banking. His last role before TMAK was working as an Operations Manager for David Lloyd in the Health and Leisure industry.

Phil forms part of the Senior Management team at TMAK ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the company.

Shauna Grewcock
Human Resources Manager


Shauna joined the TMAK team in November 2018 and is responsible for Managing Recruitment, Employee Development & supports the needs of the organisation & all of its employees.  

Shauna has worked within the Customer service & HR industry for the past 16 years; prior to working for TMAK Shauna previously spent 4 years working near Melbourne as HR & Payroll Manager for PGL Australia.

Shauna is part of the TMAK Management team & helps to ensure the smooth running of the Company on a day-to-day basis. 

Simon Fieldhouse
Senior Contracts Manager


Simon joined the TMAK team in early February 2019. Simon oversees all of our projects: from extensions, new builds, knock down rebuilds (KDR’s); and, pre-involvement with the principal designer(s) in relation to HSE sign-off and conformity.

Simon has 20 years’ Civil Engineering experience ranging from major road projects to airfield/runway refurbishments. He also has 8 years overseas experience managing runways, taxiways, stands and terminals works in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Isles.

Simon forms part of the management team at TMAK and engaging with the client(s), and site teams across the UK pushing for excellence in the finished article.

Mark Simeoli
Construction Project Manager


Mark joined the TMAK team in March 2019 as Project Manager.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry he is responsible for overseeing the various aspects of construction and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. 

Gary Macken 
Homes Manager


Gary joined the TMAK team in 2016. In this time, he has looked after all TMAK local works and has recently become the manager of our TMAK Home division which we are delighted with.

Gary has always worked within the building industry gaining him over 20 years’ experience many of which was managing his own building company.

He is one of most multi-skilled tradesman that always strives for perfection from himself and his team.

Ashley Bradshaw
Plumbing and Heating Manager


Ash has recently joined the TMAK team at the start of 2019 with an aim to develop a plumbing and heating division within the business. Ash has gained a wealth of experience over a 15 year career in domestic, commercial, and light-industrial roles. 

Using his contacts and skill-set, we hope to grow the plumbing and heating aspect of the business to become a recognised and trusted contractor in the region. 

David Read
Quantity Surveyor


David is responsible for estimating new works as well as managing the commercial aspects of projects on site. David has been working in the construction industry since 2004.

Prior to TMAK, David has been working on projects for multiple high street brands including Tesco, B&Q, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and Vodafone to name a few. He has also worked for multiple council authorities, the NHS and the Ministry of Defence both in the UK and abroad.

David’s experience ranges from demolition and refurbishment to new builds and building maintenance.

Charlotte Orr
Junior Quantity Surveyor


Charlotte is a recent graduate of Coventry University and assists Quantity Surveyor David Read, in her new role as Junior Quantity Surveyor. Prior to working for TMAK Construction, Charlotte completed her university placement year with Skanska, working within the Anglian Water @One Alliance.

Julie Parish
Construction Buyer


Julie joined TMAK in Nov 2018 and is responsible for the procurement of materials & services for TMAK contracts.

Her career background is 28 years in Construction Industry Management, Accounts, Logistics and Procurement working on Commercial sites, NHS, Local Authority, MOD and Residential estate developments.

Julie forms part of the Operations team ensuring the needs of TMAK contracts are met and materials are delivered to sites and to schedule.

James Ray
Health & Safety Manager


James joined TMAK Construction in May 2019 and is responsible for Health and Safety throughout the company. He is NEBOSH qualified and holds qualifications in Civil Engineering.

Having spent most of his career in and around the construction industry James comes to TMAK with vast knowledge and experience. He is looking to utilise this experience in order to implement and promote safe working practices across our business.

Paige Naylor
Project Administrator


Paige Joined TMAK construction 2017 and is responsible for the site set up, issuing drawings, plant hire and waste removal.

Her career background before TMAK was for a manufacturer as production planner. 

Paige works closely with the sites and site managers to make sure they have everything they may need.

Anthony Richardson
Accounts Administrator


Anthony joined the TMAK team in August 2018 and is principally responsible for all bookkeeping and accountancy related tasks.

Anthony has recently had a complete change in circumstances in his career, having previously been involved in teaching as well as debt management. Anthony is currently studying AAT Accountancy at Grantham College with the overall aim of becoming a chartered accountant.

When not crunching numbers, you can usually find Anthony in the local snooker hall!

Hiliary Critchley
Office Administrator


Hiliary started working for TMAK Construction in June 2019.

She previously spent 24 years working for an electronics/manufacturing company as goods in / stores supervisor.

Hiliary loves to crank up some heavy rock tunes in the office and shake the walls.
